Security model

Private by architecture.

Your vault

Account records and attachments are encrypted locally. Your master password is used on your device and is never sent to Keyplate's licensing service.

Device sync

Pro devices exchange encrypted vault changes directly over an authenticated session. Keyplate does not operate a hosted copy of your vault.

Licensing

The licensing service stores only the information needed to operate your account: identity, plan, purchases and activated devices. It cannot decrypt your vault.

Responsible disclosure

A dedicated security contact and disclosure policy will be published before public release.
